Inside the feeder are 4 total cups perfect for your choice of dried mealworms. With this careful design, your bluebirds can feast while larger bully bird species like Starlings simply can't get inside to your mealworms. Our enclosed bluebird feeder also features an overhanging poly lumber roof which keeps your mealworms dry and safe from overhead messes. The roof of this feeder easily slides upward to refill the included mealworm cups, and the attached hanging cable means easy mounting. Acrylic front and back sides of this feeder also allow you to watch your beautiful bluebirds snacking without obstruction. I have several bluebirds using this feeder I’ve had as many as four in the house at a time I use only meal worms.The feeder is well made and offers a good view
Put it up and in 15 minutes the bluebirds were very interested in it. Some have went it to eat and others are just checking it out. Don’t see how starlings could get in because the holes just barely fit letting in the bluebirds. We will find out in a few days how everything will be going and get back to you.
I get lots of Bluebirds to this feeder so many I have to fill it twice a week well made and easy to clean
Love this feeder! It keeps the bully birds out while the bluebirds enjoy it.
Love this bluebird house. Very well-constructed and thought-out, including having the four “drop-down” food cups. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is that it is very heavy compared to all other feeders, and there was no mention of this in description. It was too heavy for one of my feeders.
