Recycled Poly Lumber Construction
This house is made by JCS Wildlife with recycled poly lumber. The durability of the weather-resistant poly lumber makes our box tough to withstand weather conditions.
Where Should I Mount My House?
The best place to mount your Ultimate Squirrel Nesting Box is 12-30 feet in a tree that is at least 10 inches in diameter, and adjacent to hardwood or nut-producing trees.
We have had many customers who found success mounting their house anywhere from 4 feet - 10 feet as well.
The most important thing to remember when installing is to mount the house in a safe location off of the road where there is not much foot traffic. Placing peanuts in the house can even help attract squirrels faster.

Moved in pretty fast. The use the ledge to gnaw on. Gnawed a v shape right out. Sharp teeth because the material is very hard. High quality with great protection. This is Harley waiting for me to refill his nuts and sunflower seeds. The hut is pretty high. I am on a 6 ft ladder we keep leaned against the tree so I reach the feeder. The squirrels like the ladder as well.

This squirrel house is incredible! Never thought I'd type that, but it's true. My wife picked it out and when it arrived we were both blown away with how well made it was. I can't imagine what force it would take to damage it - super dense, strong polymer stuff. I don't know what it's called, but it's the same material they make that rugged plastic decking out of. Heavy but easy to install. I'd imagine it'd get hot in the sun, so we chose a shadier spot. The squirrels love it! With the way their entry path is engineered, it's predator-proof. At least, there's no way a hawk could possibly get in there, which was our primary issue to prevent. I'm sure you won't find a better home for your local arboreal pals, if that's what you're into. My wife certainly is. Score.

I love this house. Too cold to put it up yet. But I’m sure I’ll have hours of enjoyment watching the squirrels play around in it. The shipping was fast and it’s made in the US. Really high quality.
