This Recycled Double Cake Suet Feeder is a bit of a misnomer as it will actually hold 4 suet or seed cakes so you refill less often! The feeder is made from recycled plastic called poly lumber that is guaranteed to never crack, split or fade from regular use. The roof will keep your seed or suet cakes dry from rain. The upside down feeding area is great for clinging birds like Woodpeckers, Scarlet Tanagers, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Jays, Bluebirds and other clinging birds. Woodpeckers love to eat suet year around. Upside down feeders let clinging birds feed easily where larger birds like Starlings and Grackles have a harder time feeding upside down.

This suet feeder looks well-made from sturdy materials and quality craftsmanship. I like that it keeps the suet protected and dry from rain/snow. However, any birds have yet to feed from it--and I have plenty of nuthatches and a downy woodpecker visiting my other feeders.
The woodpeckers and chickadees noticed and started using it within a few days. The sparrows try but give up. Perfect. Very well made and pretty.
Works great! Easy to put the suet in and keeps the starlings away!
Works great. The woodpeckers and nuthatches love it. The Starlings and blackbirds not so much.
I got these to keep Grackles and Starlings from eating all the suet. They really work! They can sometimes get a grip and get some but can't stay long, while the woodpeckers and nuthatches have no problem. Very well made and I love the fact that it is recycled plastic too .
