Inside the feeder are 4 total cups perfect for your choice of dried mealworms. With this careful design, your bluebirds can feast while larger bully bird species like Starlings simply can't get inside to your mealworms. Our enclosed bluebird feeder also features an overhanging poly lumber roof which keeps your mealworms dry and safe from overhead messes. The roof of this feeder easily slides upward to refill the included mealworm cups, and the attached hanging cable means easy mounting. Acrylic front and back sides of this feeder also allow you to watch your beautiful bluebirds snacking without obstruction. It took a few weeks, but the bluebirds found this feeder after I hung it, and now they zip in and out of the holes and feast on dried mealworms daily! The food stays dry in the rain and the feeder stays clean. I've seen wrens use it too. Very happy with this purchase!

This is the most effective bluebird feeder I have found. Blackbirds are not able to reach the food cups.

First, this was a little bigger than I had realized. Second, it is of high quality and very well made. Third, our bluebirds adjusted to it within two days, and now after 3 months, it is still as good as new. The bluebirds love it (and so do the wrens), and the starlings are unable to get through the circular openings. Definitely 5 stars!
