Description

This 100% 1 lb. 10 oz. seed cake is excellent for squirrel prone areas, as squirrels generally don't like safflower. These cylinders are preferred by cardinals, grosbeaks and more, where grackles, sparrows and starlings generally dont like safflower. The golden safflower seed is softer than traditional safflower, so will attract a great number of birds. Golden Safflower is different than your normal safflower seed because its higher in oil content, higher in protein, and higher in fat - Making it more desirable to birds! This Mr. Bird seed cake will perform best when kept dry.

Attracts birds much more quickly than suet and without the problem of melting in the summer heat. Great for year-round bird feeding.

My birds love the Saflower seed cakes! I’ve reviewed before. We go through 1 per month.

They love it!

This came tightly shrink wrapped which helped hold its shape and reduced the crumbling that this brand seems to suffer from. The birds appeared to prefer this golden safflower over the standard safflower. Other than the color of the shell being different, they say that the shell is also thinner or softer. All I know is that the birds have started to flock to this golden safflower when given a choice, once they became familiar with it.

Excellent bird feeder system

I put this in my small yard to replace a feeder I had been using for several years as I wanted to hang more feeders. This thing is a beast! Had no trouble installing it and it looks great in the yard.

Can't go wrong with this purchase!!! This is the 4th Squirrel Stopper Deluxe bird feeder pole system that we have purchased; three for us and one for a gift for our daughter-in-law. This is by far the most effective bird feeder pole we have ever found to keep the pesky squirrels and raccoons from climbing our feeder pole to empty and destroy our bird feeders. A little pricey but money well spent. We have easily saved the extra price of this feeder pole because we use much less bird seed now that the squirrels and coons can no longer raid the feeders. We raved about it so much that 2 of our friends bought them.

Chew resistant

I like the fact that it is made from plastic. Should keep the squirrels from chewing on it. It is heavy, so stronger screws are needed. The heads broke off when trying to install.

Terrific quality and easy to set up. Not a single squirrel!!
