I didn't actually use the suction cups, but zip tied it to a 2'' pole. Works well and well made.

Once I put mealworms into this bowl, the bluebirds found the feeder in no time. I never had any bluebirds in my yard until I started using this feeder with mealworms. It's on a windowed door and I love to watch them feed.

I love being able to see bluebirds up close at my feeder, and if it stays on the glass door where I have it, it works very well. Unfortunately, the screws going into the suction cups aren't long enough to keep the feeder attached to the suction cups. Sometimes another bird will land on the feeder so that it wiggles, and it then falls off the suction cups. The last time this happened, some other critter took off with the suction cup that was on the ground, and now I have to find a replacement suction cup before the feeder can be used. This could easily be corrected with longer screws, and I hope this adjustment can be made in the future. I would not recommend it the way that it is now.
