The large removable seed tray will hold approximately 8 cups of feed and has been tested to hold up to 35 lbs of weight, so your birds will stay fed for longer. The open design of this feeder along with drainage holes in the bottom of the tray ensure that your bird seed will stay dry and safe from mold. This hanging platform feeder is constructed with recycled poly lumber guaranteed not to split or fade, and each feeder is made by hand in our on-site production shop in Southern Indiana.
