JCS Wildlife Bird Seed Cylinder Feeder

Since we have rats who just happen to love JCS’s No Mess Seed Cylinder, I am forced to remove mine every evening. The JCS Wildlife Bird Seed Cylinder Feeder has made this an easy chore. Returning the feeder to our waiting customers each morning is, also, a much easier chore. I like the presentation of the seed cylinder on this handsome feeder. It is designed to have your cylinder sit 1.5” above a solid surface which then allows me to tuck a suet cake under the bottom of the feeder where it stays in place. No more fishing it out of the pond. I do believe this feeder is going to last a lifetime…it is so well built.

This is a well made device that looks like it will last a long time. It fits the 4 lb cyinder perfectly. I like that it can be ganged with another mount either above or below.

I purchased this last year. The area I have for my feeders has a lot of trees that make it very easy for the squirrels to get at my seed. As we all know, it's a constant battle. I was a little sceptic because of this type of feeder, the squirrels would have a blast. I have a over sized dome which I use. This will pretty much protect the seed if the rain or snow is coming straight down. I thought, man, the cost of this seed and to only get ruined during the rains. Well, let me tell you, this is the best feeder I bought. Even compared to the high brand names that cost a fortune only to have the squirrels ruin those. I have had no issues with the seed getting ruined from the weather. The squirrels cannot get to it. The only problem is, if you decide to buy, don't wait like I did and now they are out of stock. Hopefully, it will be back soon. You will not go wrong with this purchase.
