Does the trick

Easy to assemble. Auger works great. Very sturdy. Been up a month. Haven’t seen a squirrel even attempt to climb up. They were all over my old feeder. It’ll pay for itself on seeds not wasted on squirrels. Just buy it…

The birds and I both love this birdfeeder!

This is a very high-quality large birdfeeder. It has a handle to remove the birdseed basket for cleaning. It reminds me of high quality made material used for Trex deck. So it should last for many many years! I love the little roof to keep the rain out. Now if it rains super hard, the seeds will get a little bit moist. I purchased the blue model because I wanted a darker color like blue or green to blend in with nature a little better. So the Hawks won’t notice it as much. With a covered roof I also believe that it will protect the birds a little bit more. The roof also keeps the birdseed from getting ruined from rain and snow. Birds do not like wet seed and I end up throwing away the wet stuff. The mourning doves will learn how to use it. It just takes a little bit of time. I get all kinds of birds and I enjoy watching them.
