Excellent construction; not impervious

We thought this would stop our ubiquitous pest fox squirrel in her tracks, but not so; she is truly a Walenda in fur! Despite the fact that the dome extends beyond our wood, roofed feeder she is able to slide down the dome and twist under to catch the lip of the feeder. Astounding and annoying!!
All that said, in our case, the only weakness of this dome is its stability for if it tipped...voila and good-bye.
