Replacement Part: Lower Pole Segment with Attached Auger for the Universal Pole Kit/Denali - Updated 2021

I was looking for a pole for my Bird Buddy birdfeeder. Another company had a pole but it required an adaptor which was very difficult to find. I began looking for another option and came across this pole. Unsure if it would work, I ordered the pole. The ordering process was easy and the pole arrived faster than expected. The pole was easy to setup and works great with my Birdy Buddy birdfeeder without ordering an extra part. I am purchasing this pole again for my mother-in-law to use with her Bird Buddy birdfeeder.

This auger base for bird house or feeder poles is a great idea. I had one that came with my Universal Mounting Pole Kit from Amazon.It was great once I managed to get it plum/vertical in a somewhat rocky soil. Then ... a friendly neighborhood black bear decided she wanted some bird seed. Broke the pole right at the top of the lower/auger section. I certainly didn't expect this, or any other pole, to withstand a bear. But it seemed that the top of this section, where the turning rod is inserted, was not well attached to the rest of the section. That part just sheared off. Maybe I should be thankful that that was the extent of the damage.My new auger section is now in the ground with one section on it. I'm waiting until October to reinstall the bird feeder. Luckily the bear didn't totally destroy it and I was able to refurbish it for reuse.Wish me luck this time.

Bird feeder is up and running again after a bear visit!
