I continually purchase this bag. Its a big fan to all of the birds we have in our yard. Cardinals, Blue Jays, Mockingbirds, Finches, Sparrows, Titmouse are among the regulars.

I bought a 50 lb. bag of birdseed from a fundraiser for a worthy cause this fall, and the birds won't go near it. They love the JC's seed, so guess they get to vote.

I have tried countless types of bird seed from countless sources (including, most recently, the Audubon Society), with mixed success. I equate success by the reaction of the customers, the birds. I have found that price is no indicator, the most expensive seed I have ever bought came from Wild Birds Unlimited, and the birds wouldn't go near it. Supporting a good cause is also no indicator, the birds don't like the seed from the Audubon Society. I should have donated the money, and not been left with 40 pounds of seed that noone wants. This Mr. Bird seed gets eaten so fast I can barely keep it in the feeders. My definition of high quality!

I gave it to my Mom for Mother's Day along with a feeder and she had birds on right away! The birds loved it.
