The three sections attach easily and the included heavy-duty auger is the same style made popular by the original Squirrel Stopper Pole System. This mounting pole kit is designed to mount bird houses, bird feeders that can mount from the bottom and another other plate mounted outdoor accessory. Similar to the baffle on our popular Squirrel Stopper Denali Pole System, this Squirrel Stopper Standard Baffle (SQSB09) features an all metal design. Uses our patented spring technology, this is a squirrel proof baffle so the baffle moves up and down and side to side when squirrels try to climb it. Guaranteed to stop squirrels from ground attacks! Mount your Squirrel Stopper Standard Baffle to your Universal Pole Kit. The baffle works best when used on a pole located at least 10 feet from any trees, walls, or overhangs (anything a squirrel may use to jump from). Quality product, exceptional customer service

I own a few of these poles, in various styles. The quality is top notch, without question. Recently a bear got the best of one of the squirrel stopper poles. I contacted customer service to help me replace the bent part of the pole and purchase another pole as well. Very pleasant, helpful people by phone or email. JCS is a great company to work with!

Very sturdy pole

Wow! This is an excellent pole, it's very rugged and sturdy . It comes with a large rod to twist the pole into the ground. The bottom pole is marked to show you how deep to drive the pole. I saw this mark and thought there's no way it going that deep, but it did with ease. I'd buy this again if I need to mount another bird house.

Works great!!!

This was my second purchase. I was so happy I decided to spend some more money.

We had a feeder and it always leaned and swayed in the wind. Not anymore as we put it on the universal pole kit.

It was easy to install and the pole is very sturdy. I have not seen a squirrel attempt to get on that feeder since we switched poles but that could be a coincidence.

Once is not enough!

I just got my second fly-thru feeder. They are so easy to use, fill, clean,. The birds are there everyday all day in all weather...which here is hot and sunny almost all the time. Love the service too...kind, thoughtful and helpful. Oh, there was nothing wrong with the first feeder, it was so successful that I wanted to double up.

Wonderful product, great customer service

I love my Squirrel Stopper feeder pole, it is such a huge upgrade from the shepard's hooks I was using. It is sturdy and attractive AND when I lost one of the hooks customer service came to the rescue. Exemplary company.

Love this suet cake

This brand suet cake seems heavier, more substantial than other brands. I love that it is not made with a lot of junk ingredients like corn and is a high quality feed for the birds. Highly recommend!

NO Waste

All of my Northwest birds love this. If any is dropped my ground feeders clean it up. The squirrels get into the seeds but not for very long. Again nothing is wasted and one cylinder will last about one week.

Squirrel approved and excellent customer service

It is a progress to get squirrel to use this feeder and stay away from my bird feeders. First few days mounted it close to our whole peanut bird feeder which squirrels like to attack first, fill it up with their favorite walnut. Once they discovered it and used it on daily base for a few days, I moved it to the other side of the yard. Since there is no vegetation nor other form of climbing path, I put ladder there to allow squirrel to rediscover it for another two days before I removed the ladder. Once they know it is there, they will figure out a way to get there. Now it is fun to watch squirrels fight for the feeder and chase on the fence. They would leave my whole peanut for blue jays to carry away for most of the time and lease clean up for me.

Side notes: I do have nutty squirrels chewing on the feeder opening right after I mounted it up. They are not stopping and making sharp edge on the holes which make cleaning harder. I reached out to customer service, since this is expected wild life behavior and not covered by warranty, I purchased replacement side panel, the customer service is very helpful to get me the replacement part and recommended me to look into chew guard for future protecting. Great experience with the company and product.
