Top quality and popular with the birds

We had a non-wifi birdhouse and had an issue where we needed to know how long the eggs had been there, so we tried this one.

We couldn't be happier! We had bluebirds checking it out within 2 days of installation. A week later, we have chickadees doing the same. It's so cool getting notified when they are there!

We have a fairly sophisticated wifi system, so I made sure the camera link was done inside (with good wifi signal). Once installed outside, we have had no issues and get plenty of notifications daily as well as live video when wanted.

If Your Technical Skills Aren’t Great…

…you should still be able to make this work. I’m a 63-year-old retiree who was terrified and momentarily overwhelmed when I opened the box. But if someone like me (limited internet/technology skills) can figure this out, most other seniors might have success as well. Just give yourself at least an hour or 90 minutes. And make sure you also buy the recommended pole! ONE BIG COMPLAINT ABOUT THE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS: at one point, you have to take a picture of a barcode, and I thought I was supposed to use my iPhone camera. You actually are supposed to point the BIRDHOUSE camera at the code! It took me three attempts with my iPhone before I realized this! Also, I’ve had birdhouse up for a week now, with no birds going inside, but it’s still early in the season. Will update this review with pics once bluebirds arrive (or never do) 🤞🏼

Great project with kids

I bought this as a project to do with my son. He really enjoys building things and this was also a great opportunity to talk about things like conservation. The product is made of decent quality plywood and goes together easily. In order to keep it from being inhabited by squirrels I currently have it mounted on a 12’ 4x4 post until I can secure something significantly taller like a utility pole.

Squirrel house

I was amazed when I received the squirrel house that I ordered. I had rescued a baby squirrel and he’s ready to go back into the wild now. I wanted him to be as safe as possible from all of the cats and predators around where I live. I put the house in his room for a while in the my home so he could get used to it first. He took right to it and loves it. It’s made a very good quality composite and I think it’ll last a long long time. It’s beautiful and well constructed with predator guards. I highly recommend the product for rescued squirrels or even the wild squirrels in your neighborhood, If you wanna keep them safe from predators. I also like the fact that it’s made in the USA from American craftsmanship.
