The decals contain a component which brilliantly reflects ultraviolet sunlight. This ultraviolet light is invisible to humans, but glows like a stoplight for birds. Birds have vision that is up to 12 times better than that of humans. WindowAlert decals help birds see windows and avoid striking the glass. WindowAlert decals help prevent wild birds from accidently striking windows. Each decal has a special coating that reflects ultraviolet sunlight. This ultraviolet light is invisible to humans, but birds see it as a brilliant glow – much like a stoplight.To the human eye, the decals appear as frosted or etched glass. The decals measure approximately 4” across, and are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window. Decals do the trick!

Recently purchased and applied 12 decals for our sliding glass doors, to stop the frequent attempted fly throughs by our winged friends. We haven't had an incident since.

No More Dead Birds

This is my second order of Window Alert Decals. My first set lasted two seasons. My neighbor has a crabappple tree in his yard and flocks of birds, usually robins, get their fill and fly off. Unfortunately they flew right into my porch windows and hit the glass with such force that they were killed. I tried putting colored masking tape on the glass, but that did not work. The Window Alert Decals have practically eliminated the birds flying into the glass. Every so often a bird flies into a window, but they have solved the problem about 95% of the time. I can highly recommend the product. It's certainly worth trying if you have a problem.

Birds still hit our sliding glass door

I purchased 2 packages of Window Alert decals and applied them according to directions several weeks ago. Unfortunately, there have been several birds flying into the door in the past week. Fortunately, they recovered from the hit.
