Highly recommend this bird feeder.

I am very pleased with this bird feeder and highly recommend it. I'm particularly impressed with the design of the feeder with its quality parts. It has deterred the squirrels. I use a sunflower/nut/fruit mix in this feeder. One thing I've found I have to keep an eye is occasionally a large peanut or piece of dried fruit gets stuck at the exit point and I need to manually free it up. A small thing compared to the high quality of this bird feeder.

Great Feeder!

This feeder delivers, it is by far the best we’ve ever had. Easy to fill and clean. A nice feature is the ability to adjust the amount of weight needed to trigger the closure of the feeding ports. The squirrels and chipmunks are besides themselves because they can’t get into the feeder. Definitely would buy again.

Birds love it, squirrels hate it.

This was a replacement for a previous version of the Squirrel Buster. I was pleased with the previous one (it broke after many years of faithful service), and I am even more pleased with this one. The larger feed capacity than the previous version is a plus. The birds love it and the squirrels can’t get to it. So we have an ordinary bird feeder we call our “squirrel feeder” to let them get a little food once in a while, since they know trying to get in these is useless. I will caution that the overall size is larger than the previous versions. That’s a plus for me. It seems sturdier. And I have plenty of room to hang it. But you’ll want to be sure you have enough room, too.
