After trying several different nyjer feeders, this is the best. It holds a lot, keeps food dry and the bottom catches their “crumbs.” The green color is nice too.

Steel screen lets birds access every square inch of the feeder (also lets feed air-dry). Dropped nyjer falls into the tray–reducing ground waste. Metal top lets birds feel safe from hawks overhead, thus, I've had 6-10 finches at once, consistently, since hanging it. Quality parts and cable. Only downside is that I'm going to be spending more money on feed because birds love this thing!

Our goldfinches love this feeder. The holes are a little smaller than my previous one but they seem to do a much better job saving food. There was a lot of loss with the feeder with bigger holes. The birds work a little harder to get something to eat, but they don’t seem to mind. We have about 30 goldfinches that have hung around this winter.
