When I put this seed cake into my bird feeder for the birds to eat, this is a close second to the woodpecker feast. It still takes the birds two days to eat this seed cake, but they do not eat it as quickly as the woodpecker feast seed cake. No glitches at all in the process. The bird cakes arrived unscathed, all in one piece, and in a timely way. We like this product because it makes the birds happy and us happy too, as there are no flying bits of lard that spatter our windows.

squirrel Stopper Deluxe bird feeder pole system

Can't go wrong with this purchase!!! This is the 4th Squirrel Stopper Deluxe bird feeder pole system that we have purchased; three for us and one for a gift for our daughter-in-law. This is by far the most effective bird feeder pole we have ever found to keep the pesky squirrels and raccoons from climbing our feeder pole to empty and destroy our bird feeders. A little pricey but money well spent. We have easily saved the extra price of this feeder pole because we use much less bird seed now that the squirrels and coons can no longer raid the feeders. We raved about it so much that 2 of our friends bought them.

Chew resistant

I like the fact that it is made from plastic. Should keep the squirrels from chewing on it. It is heavy, so stronger screws are needed. The heads broke off when trying to install.
