Nectar Guard tips easily slide onto the feeding ports on the underside of the feeders cover. The flexible membrane in the center of each tip easily opens when hummingbirds insert their beaks to feed and close up tight when beaks are removed.

These create a barrier flying insects can't penetrate.

I am extremely happy with our HumZinger hummingbird feeder-- we used to have our old feeder DRAINED by hornets. The nectar guard tips are great! They keep the hornets OUT and let the hummers feed. I had misplaced the guards that came with the feeder, so was very glad to see I could get replacements!

I give you 5 stars for fast shipping, but I give myself 3 stars for not reading carefully. These guard tips do not fit my model of Hummzinger.

Excellent bird feeder system

I put this in my small yard to replace a feeder I had been using for several years as I wanted to hang more feeders. This thing is a beast! Had no trouble installing it and it looks great in the yard.

squirrel Stopper Deluxe bird feeder pole system

Can't go wrong with this purchase!!! This is the 4th Squirrel Stopper Deluxe bird feeder pole system that we have purchased; three for us and one for a gift for our daughter-in-law. This is by far the most effective bird feeder pole we have ever found to keep the pesky squirrels and raccoons from climbing our feeder pole to empty and destroy our bird feeders. A little pricey but money well spent. We have easily saved the extra price of this feeder pole because we use much less bird seed now that the squirrels and coons can no longer raid the feeders. We raved about it so much that 2 of our friends bought them.

Chew resistant

I like the fact that it is made from plastic. Should keep the squirrels from chewing on it. It is heavy, so stronger screws are needed. The heads broke off when trying to install.

Terrific quality and easy to set up. Not a single squirrel!!
