I bought this as a project to do with my son. He really enjoys building things and this was also a great opportunity to talk about things like conservation. The product is made of decent quality plywood and goes together easily. In order to keep it from being inhabited by squirrels I currently have it mounted on a 12’ 4x4 post until I can secure something significantly taller like a utility pole.
This is my second purchase of this bird feeder pole. It is a bit expensive, but the savings in bird seed by keeping squirrels away will pay down the expense rather quickly.

I was amazed when I received the squirrel house that I ordered. I had rescued a baby squirrel and he’s ready to go back into the wild now. I wanted him to be as safe as possible from all of the cats and predators around where I live. I put the house in his room for a while in the my home so he could get used to it first. He took right to it and loves it. It’s made a very good quality composite and I think it’ll last a long long time. It’s beautiful and well constructed with predator guards. I highly recommend the product for rescued squirrels or even the wild squirrels in your neighborhood, If you wanna keep them safe from predators. I also like the fact that it’s made in the USA from American craftsmanship.
