The ant moats work perfectly. They are a nice quality and arrived very quickly. J.C's Wildlife is a great place to buy your bird supplies.

Had a couple of these for a while now. Added new feeders, so added more of these. I'm even using them on feeders that have ant moats as part of the feeder. They don't evaporate as fast, and they work better than anything else I've tried. JC's Wildlife had them to me fast. And they have wonderful customer service. They get back to you quickly with answers to any questions you might have.

huge efforts for the hummingbirds. these ant traps sure beat my macgivered ones out old paint caps. the birds seem to like them as well because they've taken to sitting on the rims. (threre are 14 feeders at the height of the season.) jc wildlife very kindly replaced one that arrived broken. bird approved.

I use these barriers on all my hummer feeders and it is so cute to see the Chickadees drink the water from them. They do a grea job at keeping the ants and crawly thing out of the hummer nectar.
