I have been using guards for my Aspect hummer feeders for a few years. They work great. Sometimes you will find insects caught within the guards themselves, but they don't make it into the sugar water.My birds love 'em!

I am extremely happy with our HumZinger hummingbird feeder-- we used to have our old feeder DRAINED by hornets. The nectar guard tips are great! They keep the hornets OUT and let the hummers feed. I had misplaced the guards that came with the feeder, so was very glad to see I could get replacements!
