I have placed many repeat orders for the Pine Tree Farms Log Jammer Suet Plugs. Usually I order the Peanut ones, but decided to add the Hot Pepper to the rotation at the feeders I have. All of my birds love this brand of suet. It does not melt in the heat - I have it hanging over our south facing deck, in full sun in HOT Missouri. It gets well over 110 degrees where it hangs. Does not last long enough to ever spoil because as soon as I hang the new plugs, all of my birds arrive and wait for their turn to get some. Woodpeckers were the first ones that found these suet plugs years ago when I first started using them. Now I have in addition to Woodpeckers; Cardinals, Sparrows, Wrens, Blue Jays, Eastern Blue Birds, others that I can't think of right now and even the Mourning Doves and Robins grab a bite whenever they can. Squirrels cannot get to the feeders I have, so they hang out below to scarf down whatever falls as the birds feed. I go thru a lot of these as the birds absolutely love this brand of suet and the Log Jammer plugs make it so easy to use the log feeders that I have. Three places in the feeders and three plugs to a package. No suet drying out in opened packages waiting to be placed out for the birds. I buy these plugs by the case of 12 packs. You will not go wrong with these.
