woodpeckers had to figure it out…

I was a little disappointed at first. I could see that the downeys could not reach it. Then within an hour, they got it figured out and i have a ton of woodpeckers going in between the cage with such easy ease of getting in and out. The larger woodpeckers such as the flickers, have no problem either. I have a ton of traffic on this suet. I got it at Amazon but JCS gave me a 10% coupon so I’m buying a 2nd one. Maybe a 3rd one later if I see a sale or another coupon? Big birds like the blue jays can’t get it and the squirrels gave up on it. Got it 9.9.2022 and I’m extremely happy with it..

Squirrel Proof double cake suet feeder

I ending up buying a 2nd one. Easy to refill by just opening the door. It took the birds a little time to figure out how to get inside. Even the larger woodpeckers know how to position themselves and stretch their head in to reach it. Keeps BlueJays and larger birds off of it as well as the critters like squirrels. I’m very happy with both of my purchases.

I like the side door for filling with suet

It doesn't stop squirrels as is, however. That easy open door is just as easy for them. Need to use some kind of lock to keep them out. Good grief, I'm looking at it now and the squirrel just made off with one of the suet cakes, the second one about to fall out as well.
