The fly thru ground feeder will add a pop of color to your backyard while also providing entertainment from the flocking birds. The large removable seed tray will hold approximately 8 cups of your favorite bird seed. The body of this feeder is made entirely out of recycled poly lumber that will never crack, split or fade. The spacious tray design allows plenty of room for feeding and the holes in each end of the feeder allow birds to perch and wait or just socialize. This feeder is great for Michigan winters keeping most snow out of the food. If a larger one is ever made, I will definitely purchase. With well over 20 pine and evening grosbeaks in addition to so mary other bird varieties to feed, we have to supplement with other feeders. Love this feeder!
Great addition to our back yard bird and critter buffet. Arrived assembled, which was terrific. Shipment was very fast, and we especially like the removable tray, which makes cleaning easy. Our only concern was whether the plastic tray would hold up over time. But, we just discovered that we can purchase a replacement if needed. Terrific! Very happy with our purchase.
Very sturdy, attracts a wide variety of birds. In addition to regular birdseed, I also add peanuts for the Bluejays. They seem to prefer this style feeder over an actual "peanut feeder".
I not only feed birds but squirrels. The feeder I had for the squirrels was great but when it rained the food got all wet and had to be thrown out. When I saw this I knew right away this feeder was the answer.Birds eat out of it also but this is mainly for the squirrels. It’s nice also because they can crawl in and stay dry when it’s raining. I love this and will be ordering another.
What a great addition to my enjoyment in feeding all my ground eating birds. In this rainy part of the US, it has been a wonderful concept for enjoying watching sparrows, juncos, towhees, and chickadees feed. Well made and a USA made item that I will recommend to everyone. I pull the tray out at night and replaces easily in morning.
