This feeder is so nice-looking, I wanted to keep inside so it would stay all new looking! It is a nice size with enough roof overhang to hopefully do it's job of keeping the food a bit drier. It is VERY well made and the colors are pretty. I just put it out yesterday with white millet seed. It will take a few days for the birds to use it - they are always very cautious about coming to the feeders whenever we make a change in "their" area. This company is the best!
This feeder is great for Michigan winters keeping most snow out of the food. If a larger one is ever made, I will definitely purchase. With well over 20 pine and evening grosbeaks in addition to so mary other bird varieties to feed, we have to supplement with other feeders. Love this feeder!
Great addition to our back yard bird and critter buffet. Arrived assembled, which was terrific. Shipment was very fast, and we especially like the removable tray, which makes cleaning easy. Our only concern was whether the plastic tray would hold up over time. But, we just discovered that we can purchase a replacement if needed. Terrific! Very happy with our purchase.
Very sturdy, attracts a wide variety of birds. In addition to regular birdseed, I also add peanuts for the Bluejays. They seem to prefer this style feeder over an actual "peanut feeder".
I not only feed birds but squirrels. The feeder I had for the squirrels was great but when it rained the food got all wet and had to be thrown out. When I saw this I knew right away this feeder was the answer.Birds eat out of it also but this is mainly for the squirrels. It’s nice also because they can crawl in and stay dry when it’s raining. I love this and will be ordering another.
