All the regular bird visitors like it, but I think, perhaps subjectively, that the Carolina wrens and blue birds come more frequently when this log is up. I’m sad when it’s out is stock when it’s time to re-order.
Carolina wrens, titmice, chickadees, woodpeckers - downy, hairy, red-bellied - nuthatches, starlings, greckles, cardinals, blue birds and red-winged blackbirds are all repeat, so I think happy, eaters. Sparrows and finches not so much.
