With two clear acrylic sides, you’ll be able to easily see when it’s time to refill by simply sliding the roof up the attached hanging cable. Cleaning is a breeze with a built in removable tray, which contains drainage holes on the bottom to help keep bird seed safe and dry from rain and snow. This product is proudly made in the USA!

The small hopper bird feeder does what I need it to do - feeds the smaller birds and keeps the grackles off. The grackles have tried to eat from this but since the perching area is small, they can barely hang on and quickly leave it alone. The grackles do attempt to swing the feeder to get food to the ground but after a week, they have left it alone. The feeder is made well and is easy to clean since it is so easy to take apart and put back together. Since I do take it down each night, I clean it often with dish soap and hot water and let it dry overnight. Good material and not made of wood allows for quick drying. I love that JC's provides instructions about making sure you push the acrylic panels all the way down for bird safety. Nothing would make me hate a feeder more if it were to trap a bird that I entice to a feeder for my enjoyment. I shop JC's Wildlife because every product I have received from them has exceeded my expectations and who doesn't like free shipping? Tyler, Texas needs a good wild bird store (hint:)
