Squirrels Know to Avoid This Bird Feeder

I can almost see the frustration in the squirrels' eyes with this. The birds don't have any problem getting to the food, but those pesky squirrels can't. It also holds lots of seed - which means less trips to refill it in the snow. This is my 3rd Brome - I love it.

Squirrels, No...Deer, Yes

The feeder functioned as advertised: Totally squirrel proof. However, if not placed high enough the deer are able to stick their skinny tongues into the bottom and lick out the seed. With only 4 feeding ports, the finches just flit back and forth. Some Nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers have figured out how to get at the seed. Overall, we certainly will get our investment back in seed saved. Thank you.

I was pretty fed up

I was pretty fed up with watching squirrels feast on my bird feeders when I decided to purchase my first Brome Squirrel Buster. We were so pleased with it that we got a second larger feeder, a Brome Classic from JC's Wildlife. the bird's love it. the squirrels not so much.
