Best ever. This is my second one. Stays clean longer and all birds love this feeder! The woodpeckers love them because they can hold on to the sides. So awesome!

We have perhaps a dozen squirrels in our back yard who have a field day with the feeders. Recently we installed a feeder on a shepherd hook on our deck railing, found on Amazon, near a window so our kitty can watch the birds. But the squirrels figured out a way to get to it. I found this feeder on Amazon, brought it and it Works! Watched several squirrels as they try but failed, none so far got to the food. Even had one hanging off the wire dangling until they lost grip.It is easy to fill the feeder. Just remove the metal hook, slide off the protective cage and fill the food tube. The cage springs downward when too much weight is applied. Larger birds can not grip the metal perches well, saw two Blue Jays try. It's fine as the bigger birds just hogs up the food and enough falls on the ground for them. I like the warranty that they will replace any part without charge. It's is all metal with a green smooth paint coating. I would highly recommend this bird feeder!

Great product! It was fun watching the pesky squirrel shimmy up the pole to figure out how to get some seeds to no avail. He finally gave up! I added safflower seeds to the mix which squirrels do not like, but the cardinals love and many have been emptying out the feeder. This feeder is very well made, easy to fill and really is a deterrent to those cute but pesky critters. They also added information about bird watching too, if you love birds. I highly recommend it and may have to get another one if many more birds arrive. I love the hummingbirds, too, and have a separate feeder for those tiny guys too.

Just what I was looking for. This is the second one of this vendors bird feeders I have purchased. My last one lasted 6 years before I needed to replace it. Very durable, nice looking and sturdy.

Bear proof !!! yes, this is squirrel proof ...even bear proof !! Huge bear came and pulled it down and tired to open it, dragging it into the woods. I recovered it and put it back together and yes !! it still works !!! well made....
