The classic design of this feeder mimics a farmhouse lantern, bringing unique style to your patio or bird garden. A center glass reservoir holds 1 quart of seed, which fills the tray through a 0.75" gap underneath. Small holes around the tray offer drainage for keeping the seed dry, and a 1" raised lip encircling it enables perching and dining for small birds. A cage of rectangles made up of hardy, metal wire surrounds the reservoir, creating a lantern-like facade, while a single-stepped metal cap covers the top with plenty of overhang to provide cover for the seed tray below. A copper-colored metal knob sits atop the center of this lid, and a metal wire hanger extends out from the lid for easy placement on a branch or hook.
