My birds and squirrels are really enjoying this bird bath and it looks great in my yard. A little pricey, but seems to be a quality product.
The birds are very comfortable using this roomy bath because it’s so low to the ground. It’s simple to hose out and fill every day, and it’s very lightweight so it can be easily moved for mowing. The shallow depth lets even the little birds have a safe dip. I’d happily recommend this!
We are experiencing a drought here in Illinois and I've been so worried about my wildlife critters. I wanted something ground level so there is easy access and this bath was precisely what I was searching for. I ordered on 6/22 at 11:17am, it had shipped by 2:16pm the same day, and I received it on 6/23 on the very next day in under 24hrs at 11:12am.. what!!?? This is BETTER than Amazon! The bird bath is so well constructed just as all of the JC Wildlife products. I imagine this will be enjoyed for many, many years. I had purchased a solar fountain previously from Amazon that works perfectly with this bath as you can see in my photo. I am even considering purchasing a few more for the backyard because this is the perfect design for our tortoise to access water. She needs something shallow and ground level and I love that you can push the feet down into the ground so it is flush with the surface. This way Rufus can walk straight into it without having to maneuver over the lip of a container. Right now I use large planter drainage saucers so this birdbath would also be much more attractive. Plus the bright colors will attract her to the water!I'm really not one to post a review unless it has made a major impact on me so this speaks a lot on how I feel about this company and their products. Another positive I wanted to point out is every time I contact customer service with a question I almost immediately get a response. They are just always on top of things! I'll be a customer for life, thank you so much!!
I have used this for two different purposes. I bought an extra saucer insert. In the winter I use the tray that I drilled holes in to be an additional feeder for the critters. During the summer, I use the regular tray to be a birdbath. The critters love it every way we use it. Birds are in it nonstop taking baths. And other critters come out to get a drink.
This is a very well made product and very easy to clean. My birds & squirrels love using this. Also, very quick shipping. I’m sure I’ll be enjoying many years of use.
