I love these suet feeders! The extra length sure seems to make the birds more comfortable. Woodpeckers can be eating from both sides at the same time. They love the tail prop. I have more woodpeckers than I ever had.
We purchased the triple recycled suet feeder with tail prop about a year ago. We live in Michigan's U.P. and started getting visits by Pileated Woodpeckers within days of hanging up the feeder. We had other woodpeckers visit as well. As long as we kept it filled with peanut suet, they kept coming throughout the winter.

What a great investment this feeder was. The birds love it. I bought it for the Pileated Woodpecker that comes around, off and on, but I have seen Nuthatches,, Blue Jays, other woodpeckers, Titmice, Carolina Wrens and even a Junco use this feeder. Great in the winter when it is bitter and a triple fill of suet makes for less changing in freezing weather. Easy loading. Love that it's made in the USA.
