JCS Wildlife Exercise Platform for Barn Owl Nesting Box - Platform Only

We ordered a barn owl box last year. It was easy to install and clean out. We had a pair of owls in our barn and they took to it immediately. They produced 5 eggs, 5 hatchlings and fledged. They did come out early and were on the ground for a short period of time which was a prob with our dogs. We were then told by a friend to get an exercise platform to help keep them in longer and a box with a higher hole would help too. We ordered the platform and installed this year. The only critique I could offer is to combine the box and exercise platform together or an option as it will be helpful for the success of the babies and we didn’t know when we bought sep. The initial higher hole would have helped too.
